The board of the company comprises directors with many years experience in running packaging companies and Friendly Planet is designed primarily to supply biodegradable packaging although it also supplies recycled packaging.

Biodegradable packaging is packaging that after use simply biodegrades harmlessly back into the earth. This helps significantly in reducing the amount of packaging that needs to go to landfill and in addition conserves energy as the biodegrading process does not require external energy.
